Western Australian State Election

6th of September 2008

The Daylight Saving Party Contests 2008 State Election

The Daylight Saving Party has launched the 2008 State Election campaign with our main policies:

1. To reverse the decision to hold a referendum on Daylight Saving Time in Western Australia and instead have the government make a decision on its introduction during 2009.

2. To deregulate Retail Trading hours in Western Australia.

Further details will be available shortly or may be forwarded after contacting: info@daylightsavingparty.org.au.

Make your opinion count and vote for the Daylight Saving Party in the Legislative Council on the 6th of September

To mobilise the Daylight Saving Party's action plan, we have nominated 5 candidates in the Legislative Council's election in 2008.

With your votes, the candidates can be elected into the Legislative Council where they can introduce legislation into the Western Australian Parliament to achieve the above goals.

A vote for any of our candidates on your ballot is a vote for a better lifestyle for all Western Australians.
